For twenty years, my wife Robbie and I have lived in Sunset Park. Our two sons attend Santa Monica's fine public schools. My law practice is located downtown, just a short bus ride away from my house. For my family and I, Santa Monica is the place we work, and play, and go to school. It is our home.
I have always felt that the involvement of Santa Monica's residents in the public process is one of its greatest strengths. My commitment to our community led me to become involved with the PTA; the American Red Cross; my neighborhood association, Friends of Sunset Park; and ultimately the decision to run for City Council.
